For those who would like to know a little about me, I’m Fiona. I’m from England, but I’ve spent most of my life living in Spain, which I now proudly call home. I enjoy studying the bible and reading, and I have a real passion for horses, which are very much part of the culture here. Whenever I can, I love going for a relaxing ride.
It’s a wonderful country to live in, and the Spanish people are so friendly. Spain has also been home to my two children and now my two granddaughters. Life here is never boring — there is always something to discover and enjoy.
Over the years, I have become deeply integrated into the rich Spanish culture. However, if there is one thing I feel is lacking here, it is fellowship with other Christians. I am a born-again Christian, and I spend a great deal of time reading and studying Bible-related topics. What motivated me to start writing this blog was the fact that there are so many wonderful teachings available in English, yet very little in Spanish.
My aim is to share my biblical views with those who may be interested. As anyone living in Spain — particularly in Andalucia — will know, the yearly festivals are endless, and many of them have deep Catholic religious roots. I will also be writing about some of these traditions, along with other cultural differences and observations from life here in Spain.
